Movie Night

I guess the elf likes watching holiday movies as much as I do!

I love holiday movies, especially the ones from my childhood. I grew up with Rudolph, Santa Claus is coming to town and the original Grinch.



My all time favorite has to be Its a Wonderful Life. It's not so much the movie itself, but the memories. It was my dad's favorite movie, so when I watch it, it's like he's here. Both of my son's grandfathers passed before he came into our life, and I know both of them would have loved him! Watching the movie helps me have that connection. My current favorite is Love, Actually. It's funny, romantic and stars a lot of my favorite actors-especially Liam Neeson and Hugh Grant. Like many of Hugh Grant's movies, there is a wistfulness and poignancy but it doesn't manipulate you. Movies help to make the season bright!
