I have very fine hair. It has a bit of an obnoxious natural wave to it. Its not quite curly, but its not quite straight.
There is a lot of hair too. In order for me to look halfway decent with it down, especially since I am trying to grow it out, is to put copious amounts of product in.
This leaves me with a bit of a problem. Over time, there is a build up of styling product on your hair, and you have a few options.
leave it.
use expensive clarifying shampoos
DIY
I go for option 3: DIY.
The best way to get rid of the styling product in your hair is to do a vinegar rinse once a week. You need 1 c vinegar (more if your hair is past shoulder length).
In the shower, wet your hair
Rinse with vinegar
Rinse with water again
Shampoo, etc as normal
