Cuppy Cake

I had heard lots and lots of great things about the Sweet Tooth Fairy in Utah, so I was so excited to try them!
It definitely lived up to its hype.
It's so cute inside! I loved the decor.

They were winners on the show Cupcake Wars, and one bite you could see (or taste) why.

I couldn't decide which one i wanted to try first. The Big Man had a black and white cookie, which he enjoyed. We met my best friend from junior high, who I've known since forever.
Good friends let you pick up where you've left off, no matter how long it's been
She had the cake bites which were delicious.
The Little Man had gum balls, because mom's cupcakes are the best.
I couldn't wait to try the VaNIElla Squared, since I've heard so much about them.
But I also wanted to try the Raspberry Lemonade.

Both were scrumptious.

I only wish there was a Sweet Tooth Fairy closer!

But I love the fact that my son loves mine the best!

1 stick butter, softened
1 c milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 c sugar
3 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt (I use Himalayan sea salt, which adds flavor too!)
2 1/2 c flour, sifted
1 c milk
1/2 c cream cheese

Preheat oven to 375.

Cream butter and sugar together, mix in eggs. Add baking powder, salt & flour. Add milk, cream and vanilla.

Pour batter into lined cupcake pan, filling 2/3 full in each cup. Bake 20 minutes or until down

Frost with buttercream frosting. I love this recipe: http://www.simplyscratch.com/2010/12/simple-vanilla-frosting.html

Top with a maraschino cherry!
