Gratitude

The summer has ended, unofficially. Fashion dictates the white pants & skirts go away until next year.
I am grateful tonight for the change in air temperature to crisp, autumnal air. This time of year reminds me of New England. Apples, antiquing, riding along the cape, foliage peaking out.
I am grateful for the time I spent with the kids this weekend, both together and separate. I'm glad for the talk with teen queen at life light and for serving as a race track for the little man.
I'm grateful for steam cleaned carpets.
Good food nourishes the soul, so I'm well satisfied. Lots of cooking and eating as a family
I'm grateful for love. As I read Jennifer Perillo's tweets, grieving the loss of her dear Mikey, it makes me want to hug the big man tighter.
Knowing that we have a roof over our heads, food on the table, clothes on our backs, access to reliable transportation & medical care. Thinking of & sending warm fuzzies to those affected by famine in Africa; flooding; fires.
I've got so many blessings in my life, and a heart filled with gratitude.
