Thank U

Today is thanksgiving. It's the annual celebration of counting our blessings, eating lots and being with family.
But why be grateful just one day a year?
Many years ago, I read the book Simple Abundance and it changed my life. Somehow I have lost my copy, and really need to replace it. One of the first tasks that readers need to do is to create a gratitude journal and every day, list 5 things that they are grateful for.
The practice was transformative for me. When I did it, I had a much more positive outlook (coupled with meditating, practicing yoga & eating healthy) and had that elusive inner peace. As time and technology marches on, I've gone from writing on paper to using an app on my iPhone. I really like the Wayshower app. You can even share your list on Facebook and Twitter! I like being able to add pictures as well. There are other ones out there that offer similar features.
