The Love Your Body Diet

I am embarking on a new eating plan-its called the Love Your Body plan. You won't find it in any book, anywhere. Not as a plan that if you follow step by step you will lose weight guaranteed (what a bunch of bull!). I came up with this to make my life better so I can live a better life-for me and my family.

The first step is to eat breakfast. I am not a breakfast eater. I never have been. I guess its because I grew up in a family that didn't eat breakfast. I remember when we did a thing on a healthy meal in Kindergarten we had to bring in breakfast one day. My grandmother was angry that I had to go out and by cereal and juice to bring in. I was suprised that people ate breakfast. We never did. I still didn't eat breakfast until fairly recently. I am still learning what constitutes a healthy meal. I do like egg white omelettes with spinach and feta. I am trying to add more fruit too, rather than orange juice or juice. I also am trying to eat more whole grains than white bread. Its hard because my son will only eat white bread. I also am limiting the amount of sugar in the morning.

I also have to choose better snacks, more healthy ones. I love yogurt. I love fruit. I just have to eat them instead of chips or candy. I have to cure my soda addiction. I love regular Coke. I don't like diet soda. I've never liked the taste of it, and I love the taste of Coke. I will admit that I have never been a water drinker, and its a struggle for me. I've done weight watchers in the past, and that was always the deal breaker for me-the water. I would do fine limiting what I ate but drinking the water was always hard for me.

I actually am very good at controlling what I eat. I guess in that way you can say I have an eating disorder. Its being in control.
