Simple kind of life

Choosing simplicity actually wasn't an easy task. I've been so addicted to busyness and stress for so long that the thought of not being busy actually terrified me.

Weird huh?

I wanted, longed for, yearned for a slower life, but as I began to put things into practice, I tried to put up roadblocks. It seemed as I was self sabotaging! When those moments hit, I go to my Bible for guidance. I fell onto this verse:

Matthew 6:21 ESV

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

My treasure is with my family, my faith and my home.

No brainer.

This was the foundation of my manifesto.

Living a simplified life, focused on gratitude, faith and family.

Having this framework allows me to just say no to commitments, projects, products and more that don't support it.
