My husband and I have had a debate about meat loaf for at least 15 years, probably more. I make what I call normal meat loaf, his family makes what I call a giant meatball. I'm not saying one is better than the other, it's a matter of preference.
I prefer mine, so if I'm cooking I will make mine.
In all honesty I do not make his family's meatloaf well, and as a result I make it once a year for his birthday. The rest of the time it's my run of the mill, average everyday meatloaf.
1 lb ground beef
2 eggs beaten
1 pkg onion soup mix
1/2 c bread crumbs
1 c tomato sauce
Preheat oven to 375
Mix eggs, onion soup, bread crumbs and meat together. Form into a loaf and put in an aluminum foil lined pan. Top with tomato sauce. Add a little water to bottom of pan. Cook for 60 minutes.

Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. Margaret D. Nadauld
