Goodbye November

Another month in the books. It's been fun, but I'm ready to bring on the holidays.

I had high hopes for the month.

It is our anniversary time, after all.
But instead of celebrating 11 years of bliss, we instead were in the hospital. The Big Man had another cellulitis flare.
Not fun.
The staff tried to make it better for us and had cookies and fruit sent to his room.
We had our first significant snow. Boo hiss.
I guess my days of spending my afternoon break at work reading outside are done for now.
I took a class series on gratitude, which has transformed my attitude towards it.
My son continues to grow up into an amazing young man.
Friends are more important, and that's ok.

I got my own sacred space now

We ended the month at the parade of lights.
Goodbye November.
Hello December
