Wake Me Up Before You Go Go

Some folks have an elaborate wake up routine. Mine is short, simple and to the point. I wake up, stretch, make the bed, brush my teeth and chug copious amounts of coffee. I say my morning devotional from the Book of Common Prayer. I do my daily dozen yoga moves. I throw swap out the laundry and start another load. Depending on what the day of the week is, depends on what kind of exercise I do. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays I do the elliptical and weights. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday I run on the treadmill and do Pilates. When I’m done working out, I again swap laundry, fold the load from the dryer and put it away. I take my shower, swish & swipe the bathroom and do my daily beauty routine. I let the dog out, feed the cat and do my daily cleaning. By then, its time to wake up the Little Man and get his day going. We eat breakfast, get dressed and get out the door. We try to do this without a fuss or fight, some mornings are more successful than others.
