The Big Man and I got married in early November, which meant our first Christmas as a married couple was less than six weeks afterwards.
We both agreed that the one necessary decoration we needed was a nativity set.
Not like one of these:

I wanted something simple, elegant and spiritual; luckily my husband wanted the same.
So, one of our first purchases as a married couple was our manger.
All these years later, I love how he covers the baby Jesus in tissue paper until Christmas. It's a small touch, but it speaks volumes.
Just like that little baby who changed the world.
Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. Margaret D. Nadauld

Beautiful story, the Nativity is the most beautiful part of Christmas, the true reason for the season, I have two set up in my home, one I made and one made by my mom. Thanks for sharing
