I am not going to lie. I am in the middle of a decorating funk. I want to do a few little sprucing up projects around the house, and get the creative juices flowing again.
I also need to spruce up my wardrobe, because quite frankly, I am bored with what I've got in there.
So, I am back to surfing the blogosphere trying to find a few new projects....and this is what I found:

Even though its been cold and damp here, I am still hoping summer will arrive and we can go swimming more. This swimsuit and towel holder from A Turtle's Life for Me is so cute, and so easy! It would be perfect in our laundry room.

This wall art could be done with either your first name or last name (or both!) and its something easily whipped up in a weekend. Thanks to mama Jill for the brilliant idea!

Another cuter than cute family wall hanging by the Gunny Sack is awesome, and would look really cool in MY family room.

I had made something similiar years ago, but its lost to the ages. I think that this

would look nice as a table scape on my server in my dining room.

From Anthropologie it would cost a lot more!

I love the letter!

Maybe its because I am living 1300 miles from the beach,

but I am feeling very nautical lately. We have a large playroom downstairs, and its well, a big playroom and rather blah. Its painted this awesome shade of blue which is great, but it seriously needs a theme.
This beachy wreath from Heck Fridays is super easy and very cute!

 I
have the perfect spot for it when you get down the stairs.
The V spot teaches how to make faux coral, just like the stuff from Pottery Barn!

These sand footprints from a Cottage in the Oaks would be awesome on another wall in the playroom!

The seashell bucket from No Minimalist There is another done in an hour project (perfect for my lack of attention span!)

The summer mantle from Social Salutations is really cute, and I have a great space to do it!

These shadowboxes from A Pumpkin and A Princess are too cute too!

Happy crafting!

I love finding new and exciting things to do online. Here are some of my favorites from the past week. Link up and share yours too!

I love shabby chic and am always looking for an inexpensive way to do it. These decorated mason jars found here at Homespun with Love are so adorable!
I am known around the little man's school as the cupcake angel/diva/queen, so you know if says cupcake, I am ALL over it! Like this ADORABLE cupcake tile from Southern Fairy Designs.

Father's Day is next weekend, and I am always looking for great ideas, as I mentioned here a while back. I saw these maple bacon cupcakes and I think we have breakfast all taken care of that morning!
One of my favorite websites to drool over, with tons of GORGEOUS dresses is the Shabby Apple. They are amazing and beautiful dresses. These two are my favorites:
However, I am not one to spend that much money on clothes, so I am always looking for a cheaper alternative. I found a great tutorial shabby apple wannabe at Suburbsmama. Too cute and well done!
They both look amazing!
I grew up in Salt Lake City,

which explains a lot about me and some of the things I love. One is my avid love of jello. No kidding, in Home Ec in junior high, we learned to make jello about 100 different ways. This is not your home ec jello
I saw this and it made me almost want to run right out and do it. (I said almost) but this is such a great idea and a nice touch too.

I am in the process of re-imagining our bedroom. Its a little blah, and quite frankly, I am BORED with it. I saw this  today at Target
and I REALLY like it. Its nice, and a bit of a compromise for both of us. I got wall art at Hobby Lobby today
which I can't wait to put up. Even though we have been married for like, forever, I still have the giddiness of a newlywed.
So I saw this and thought, wow what a great decor idea-it would go really well with the lettering and the new comforter that I think might come home next weekend.
Super duper simple too!

I do have a new project I want to try, so off to create
Lots of weekend inspiration!!
