Little Man is downstairs playing lego batman on x box with the Big Man. I am upstairs watching Haunted History (yes I am a ghost fanatic-this goes back to my childhood-I've always loved a good ghost story). I'm playing around with itunes. This week's theme is country music. I will be the first to admit that I like country. This goes back to my childhood too. I guess it was a perfect storm at the time-the movie Urban Cowboy (I didn't see it, but my mother had the soundtrack that I listened to over & over) and the tv show Dallas. This was back in the day when I wanted to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader when I grew up. I remember there was a TV movie about them and I was obsessed (fast foward a decade or so later and I met the Big Man. He wanted to be Roger Staubach when he grew up-how appropriate the quarterback and the cheerleader). So I've always had a soft spot for country music and things haven't changed really. Its just getting it on the ipod. I haven't up til this point-no real reason. I just haven't gotten around to it until now.
I've had a quiet day. Tidied up the house, watched TV, went grocery shopping, came home etc. etc. etc. We had cheesesteaks for dinner (Big Man made them-he does good with that!) with peppers, onions and onion rings. Very yummy. I've got a bunch of great meals planned for the week too. Big Man has a meeting tomorrow night over dinner, so Gramah, Little Man & I will forage. Actually, I'll have crab cakes with Gramah & Little Man can have pasta or mac & cheese.
I have errands to run after church tomorrow. Need to go to Wallys world and get socks and stuff. Want to go look at new phones. We got rid of our landline so its just the cell phone (I think I'm ok with that)I need a new phone since my won't hold a charge anymore. Plus I've got a new phone # to get used to. So many changes I have to get used to. Little Man was invited to a bday party next Sat. I have a baby shower to go to at the same time. Very busy week ahead of us. I am almost done with the birthday album for the Little Man's 6th birthday party (it was only 6 months ago) I've been working on it during my lunch hour. Next up after that is our Halloween album. Maybe one day I'll finish my wedding album (after all its been almost 7 years). I also have the Christmas album to do too. But first I have to order pictures...which I am doing while I'm writing. Talk about multi tasking!
