Icky Thump-the White Stripes. This is a band that never ceases to amaze me and to think they claim to only have 2 musicians in the band.
Anyone Else But You by the Moldy Peaches. I was wondering why a commercial for Atlantis resort in the Bahamas made me want to hum along. Then I uploaded this and bam! I remembered why-its the same melody, just different words (something about mega slides and swimming with dolphins or something)
The Private Patient by PD James. I am a big fan of hers, especially the Adam Dagliesh series. This is no exception. For someone of her advanced age, she certainly has not slowed down or dumbed down for that matter. Check out Children of Men tooa different kind of story from her (yes it is what the movie is based on)
