I decided to make hot cross buns today for Good Friday. They came out really good, except for the fact that I ran out of confectioner's sugar for the icing, so there aren't any crosses on the top. Other than that...very yummy.
We went to the park today, Big Man, Little Man Sonny and I. One of Little Man's class mates was there and they went off and played while we socialized. It was fun and the kids had a blast. They were burying each other in the sand.
Despite not having a walk, Sonny was tired and took a long nap.
We are going to color Easter eggs soon. It was the first activity we did together as a family two years ago. Little Man didn't know what to do-I couldn't believe that he had never done that before. Now we look forward to it every year. Tomorrow is an Easter egg hunt in a neigboring town that we may go to. It sounds like fun. Then I have a few errands to run-Hobby Lobby, library, photo place. Then I have to get things together for our Easter egg hunt at home. We'll see what the Easter bunny will bring!
