The Mommydom Chronicles: My #onelittleword2017 is restoration. I made the commitment to honoring the #sabbath each week. Growing up, Sundays were about visiting family, going to @mets or @nyjets games or going to the @metropolitanmuseum or @lincolncenter for a matinee. I never realized what a gift that was. It's hard to stop the busyness of life for one day, but with a lot of planning and creativity over the last 6 weeks I'm much closer. @stratoblast & I have #saturdaychores that make it possible to enjoy a slow Sunday. My #preparationday means the house is clean, meals for Sunday are prepped and everything's done to allow for a day of rest. As a mom, I think this is a gift I can give him every week.
