Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. Margaret D. Nadauld

Every year since forever I’ve made the same resolutions-lose weight, exercise more, get more organized blah blah blah. Not in 2018. I’m not making resolutions. Instead, I’m setting intentions. I intend to be more present. I intend to pursue my passions. I intend to listen to that still small voice of the Holy Spirit In my life. I intend to scatter joy. I intend to begin and end my day wrapped in the Word. I intend to pursue peace. 2018 is my year of metanoia: a profound, usually spiritual, transformation; conversion. Let the journey begin. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV
