Healthy Living Again

Well we're into week 2 of healthy living. I am not seeing much of the scale budging but I can feel it in my body. My thighs are burning from doing squats yesterday. I am less winded going up and down stairs. I am fuller from eating a better breakfast. I am less tired throughout the day and am not reliant on caffeine and sugar to get me through the day.
I did some yoga last night and it felt good. I felt parts of my back stretch out and I got that delicious pop from the stretch. It felt really awesome. Almost as good as the chiropractor actually. I did some stretches this morning too (my daily dozen-mountain pose*tree pose*triangle pose*side angle pose*seated leg stretch*seated twist*cat*cobra*upward dog*downfaced dog*child pose*hero pose) which got me feeing really good and warmed up.
It also gives me a sense of peace too. I even had enough time this morning to swish & swipe my bathrooms swifter the floors and tidy up even. Wow! I got stuff done without screaming like a lunatic. This even included making Little Man breakfast and getting his outfit together.
I have more energy at night too. I don't feel like I am dragging through the night just waiting to collapse into bed. That in itself is worth it.
