Its Monday and the little man is already awake. I am barely. But I will be able to worl out anyway.
Its going to be a great day today I've determined. Going on a field trip with the little mans class to the butterfly house. It should be a lot of fun. I'm really looking forward to it. he was excited about it last night.
In school this afternoon they have reading day. He has to choose one favorite book to read. That's going to be hard because he's got a whole variety of books he loves. I think its great because getting kids to love to read is so important. it seems either they do or they don't no middle ground. My son is in the former category.
It was so nice walking into my kitchen and not seeing a mess. It was great not seeing the living room floor covered in hot wheels. Right now it is but it will be cleaned up before we leave this morning.
this morning I need to get on the treadmill and bowflex. I need to empty the dishwasher. Tidy up and do daily cleaning. Get dressed and actually do my hair for a change. I'm in desperate need of a haircut but I don't seem to make the time for it. I have to...
I guess I need to expand my vision of mommy time from a nap to actually taking care of me. Its 12 days from my 40th birthday. If it doesn't start soon...I know that I've been mean to myself with a dose of false humility thrown in. I learned from the master to degrade & downplay any compliment I receive. And of course. Investment in yourself meant that there was something wrong with you. You need to be a martyr and suffer.
