I made it to 40!
My boys have something special planned for me, and its a suprise. I will be the first to admit that since I am a control freak, suprises aren't my favorite thing, but I am going to chill out and let things happen today.
Its grey, rainy and windy out today, so I am assuming we are not doing anything outdoors.
However, next week's theme of the week will be camping. Next weekend, we are going to set up the tent in the backyard and go camping. In between, we are going to go on a neighborhood nature hike (aka walking the puppy dog), making binonculars, and telling camping stories. Its going to be a lot of fun, and keep the little man learning all summer long (even if he doesn't realize it)
The other thing that I want to do is since I am going to be responsible for guiding other children in their faith, working on this with my own child. So...hello family devotional night (note to big man: suprise!). Nothing fancy-lectionary based, activity and snack. This week is all about Pentecost. Gotta love it!
Time to get the festivities going (actually I am hoping for a good hair day for my driver's license picture)
