It's Monday, and I have my living room back. The playroom is done, and we're somewhat moved in there. Its exciting, because I am grateful for the space and the new opportunities it offers.
As I am excited by the other opportunity and promise offered by a new week. In a few minutes, I will be going downstairs and getting on the treadmill. I haven't been on the treadmill consistently for about 6 weeks. Part of it has been all the moving around here, and part of it is sheer laziness. I will admit that I truly missed it, and that there is a level of shame that I am not exercising. But, that is going to change today since I'm getting back in the saddle again.
Also, I am able to get back to doing my daily cleaning, since I am able to move around the house. It was really driving me crazy! So now that I have some wide open spaces, I am able to negotiate the dust and dog hair all over the place. Next up, the lower level and making that into a different functioning space. I want one side to be a yoga studio/gym/playroom. The other side is the Man Cave/home office. In between is the laundry room (oh how I desire that to be better functioning!) and a storage/bathroom room.
But its all good.
Workout, shower, daily cleaning, get dressed/do hair/etc., breakfast, out the door for myself and the little man. Work work work. Come home, eat dinner, PTO board meeting/play date at 7pm. Come home, tidy up and get ready to do it all over again.
Its all good.
On a sadder note, my journey to the BlogHer BlogLuxe awards has ended-congrats to the finalists! They are all amazing women who each has a unique voice and great contributions to the world. I am honored to be included in their company.
After a few months not working out, its time to get back in the saddle again.
