I grew up in Utah, as a non Mormon. Drinking coffee was a political statement.
That was the beginning of a life long love affair. Other tastes come and go, but coffee is always there for me. This relationship began long before there was Starbucks or gourmet coffee or any of that fancy dancy stuff.
It was just black coffee, with a little bit of ice to reduce it to drinkability.
I was introduced to espresso in college, by someone who’s parents were from Italy.
When I was in my 20’s, I had relocated to the Princeton Area, and discovered Small World Coffee. Bliss.
As time marched on, I expanded my horizons to include mixed coffees and frappacinos.
All time favorite: mocha raspberry latte. Yum
