Thankful Tree

While I try to cultivate an attitude of gratitude in our home on a daily basis, during the month of November I kick it up a notch. Each year, I find a tree branch (usually at Hobby Lobby) that I place in a vase that serves as our thankful tree. I cut out leaves from cardstock, punch a hole and tie with ribbon so we can hang it on our tree. Each night as we say grace at dinner, we add a thankful thought to our tree from each of us. It’s a great way to see all that we are grateful for and to hopefully continue that attitude all year long.

I really like this idea! I might have to copy it for my own practice!
